Neoteric

1 March - 10 April 2022
North Eastern Concourse
Adelaide Railway Station

Mon-Sat: 10-5pm
Sun: 12-4pm

Neoteric is a declaration of the importance of artists. During times of insecurity, we turn to art to get us through. Neoteric is an exhibition and an advocation, affirming the talent of 20 mid-career artists, 20 writers. The exhibition presents new works, exploring, embodying and investigating new ideas and encouraging participation.

Neoteric platforms new work from 20 of South Australia’s incredible varied artists to a broad audience, along with 20 Arts writers speaking to the works. Accompanied by performances, talks and a catalogue, Neoteric commemorates engagement and provocation in the wider community. The project sustains and rejoices in the depth, commitment and strength of the talent in our state.

A new survey exhibition of mid-career South Australian artists addressing the need of further exhibition opportunities. It highlights and promotes the incredibly diverse sustained talent of artists working across photography, painting, sculpture, installation, video, sound, ceramics and mixed media.
